Moving products from their place of origin to their destination is at the core of supply chain activities. Not only using the vehicle the displacement process also uses the engine as a tool for its displacement. Conveyor is one of the machines used to carry out the process of moving goods. Currently the conveyor is equipped with measuring instruments, measuring tools for weight, volume, and so on. Thus the conveyor is not only a means of moving goods, but also as a monitoring tool. Because of this, many companies are starting to use conveyors as a means of moving.
Seeing this, we created a system that will assist companies in monitoring the movement of their products. Measuring instruments on the conveyor will be integrated with the company's supply chain system to obtain fast and accurate data. This will minimize user work and also minimize data errors that occur due to human errors. The data on the conveyor measuring device will be automatically sent and stored into the system so that the data obtained by management is real time data, this will be very useful for companies in helping make strategic decisions.
The system previously described is called the belt scale. As the name suggests, this system will read the measured results from the belt scale and then process them into data for moving goods. This application will be installed on each existing conveyor so that all points will be integrated so that the data obtained becomes very valid. This application will also be integrated with the company's main application so that the data in this application will always be updated, such as product data, location, stockpile, port, and so on. This feature is the main feature in the belt scale application. This feature serves as a place to input goods transfer transactions carried out by the conveyor. As for the required data such as source, destination, product conveyor name and so on.
This feature functions as a monitoring tool for the conveyor. This feature will automatically calculate the progress that the conveyor has made. There are progress such as product, tonnage, and so on. This feature also functions as a place to edit or delete transactions that have been previously inputted.
This feature serves to pull data from the main application so that the data in the belt scale application is always updated. With this feature, if there is new data available or data processing in the main application, it will be updated on the belt scael application. The data that needs to be synchronized include product data, location, conveyor name, stockpile and so on.
